About
Technology, cognition, and the public good.
I am a university assistant professor focused on cognitive science and artificial intelligence, with fourteen years of executive management across government bodies and public institutions. I have founded seven companies spanning AI, knowledge-based game development, e-commerce and IT, and I advise on AI development at two national organizations — GS1 Iran (the National Center for Product & Service Numbering) and Hijab Shahrekord Textile, affiliated with the Mostazafan Foundation.
My work centers on designing and deploying native, applied AI — practical systems that lift productivity and efficiency in real industry, the public sector, and the cognitive sciences. I founded one of Iran's earliest research centers at the intersection of AI and cognition, and today lead alef.ba, an international, open research-and-development program.
